Cardinal Hotel Saint Peter is a hotel near the Vatican, located between the greenery of Villa Doria Pamphili and just a few minutes from the Vatican Museums and Saint Peter’s Basilica. We’re only 300 metres from Piazza Pio XI, where you can catch buses to destinations across the city. Guests can also enjoy free unattended parking and a garage for cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.

Located in the quiet district of Villa Pamphili just a few minutes away from Saint. Peter’s Basilica, which can be appreciated from most of the 140 spacious rooms, the Cardinal Hotel Saint Peter has 5 Singles, 110 Doubles, 9 Triples, 8 Quadruples and 4 Family rooms, suitable for every need: business, leisure and family. Swimming Pool

Not many hotels in Rome can boast a swimming pool but thanks to the choice location of the Cardinal Hotel Saint Peter, we have a little more space than your average city centre, 4-star accommodation. Outside in our popular private garden we have a pool that’s open from May 1st till late September for guests to cool off, with sunbeds and umbrellas provided plus showers and changing rooms.

Restaurant Villa Doria

Villa Doria Restaurant at the Cardinal Hotel Saint Peter is open for lunch from 12pm till 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm till 10pm and serves a fine range of Italian and Roman cuisine as well as a plethora of fine wines. The classical Italian dinner begins with a starter – perhaps some cold cuts of ham or salami or a bruschetta or two. Next up is the primo – your carbohydrate supply, in the form of pasta or risotto. Thirdly there’s the main course of meat or fish, with perhaps a contorno – or side dish – of salad or seasonal vegetables.

Bar & Lounge

Our in-house American style bar and lounge is the ideal place to kick back and enjoy a little liquid refreshment. With subdued lighting and comfortable designer sofas, guests here get to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere with the gentle hubbub of Hotel Cardinal life going on around them. An ideal spot for an informal meeting, the bar serves a wide range of cocktails, fine liqueurs, wines and beers as well as snacks accompanied by gentle background mood music.

American Breakfast

From 7am till 10am each morning a plentiful international buffet breakfast is served in the ample-sized Cardinal Hotel Saint Peter breakfast hall. Various hot and cold options are available including a full range of Italian coffees, bacon and eggs and fresh fruit juices.
